Encyclopedia Virginia: A Virtual History of Virginia with Peter Hedlund

This month we welcome Peter Hedlund and Encyclopedia Virginia: A Virtual History of Virginia. Peter will be discussing Encyclopedia Virginia, a project of the Virginia Foundation for the Humanities, that’s a fully vetted online resource devoted to the rich history and culture of Virginia. Using new technologies Peter will take you into places such as the pulpit of an eighteenth-century church, Patrick Henry’s basement where he kept his wife and many more—all without leaving your seat.
